Connect an AI agent to your Personify workspace

Use MCP to read brand context and prepare video drafts, while keeping generation approval inside Personify.

If you develop ideas with an AI assistant, copying brand details into every conversation becomes repetitive. Personify’s MCP connection gives a compatible client access to the brand you authorize and a small set of draft tools.
The endpoint is https://personify.gg/api/mcp. It uses Streamable HTTP and OAuth. Your client must support that transport and authorization flow; pasting the URL into an ordinary chat message does not establish a connection.
Connect one brand
Add the endpoint in your client’s remote MCP settings. Sign in to Personify when authorization opens, choose the brand and review the requested permissions. Do not paste a Personify password or secret key into the client.
Each connection is limited to its authorized brand. A client working on one workspace does not automatically gain access to every business in your account. You can review and revoke connections in Personify Settings.
Ask for a draft you can inspect
A useful starting request is: “Read the connected brand and its approved assets. Propose a 25-word product introduction, save one unscheduled draft, and give me the review link.”
The agent can call get_brand, list_approved_assets and create_draft. The draft operation uses a stable request ID so a network retry does not create another copy. Editing uses the latest saved version; if you change the brief in Personify, the agent must read it again before overwriting it.
The prepare_generation_approval tool returns an owner review link. It does not generate a video. Open the link, inspect the exact script and creative inputs, and review the quote in Personify before approving generation.
Keep the boundary visible
By default, an MCP connection can prepare drafts but cannot start generation. Owners can separately grant the videos:render permission to a client. With that permission, quote_video shows the current cost or allowance without starting a video. render_video requires explicit confirmation and the draft’s current saved version; credit memberships also require the matching quote. Review that information before authorizing a render. Publishing posts and changing billing remain unavailable through MCP. Reading approved media does not grant permission to use another person’s likeness; the normal account, rights and generation checks still apply.
If a connection stops working, inspect its status in Settings. Authorization and a successful tool call are distinct states. Reconnect when necessary instead of sharing credentials in chat.
