Plan which video scenes to generate and which to reuse

Give each scene a clear job, choose its source and review a finished-reel plan before scheduling production.

A new video does not always need entirely new footage. A useful opening can lead into a demonstration you have already recorded and reviewed. The important decision is which part needs a new performance and which part already shows the right thing.
Personify can plan a reel around a newly generated presenter scene and approved saved footage. Review that combination before scheduling production, so the finished video tells one coherent story.
Give each scene a job
Imagine a fictional plant-care app called Sprig Log. In this example, it records watering entries; it does not diagnose a plant or decide when it needs water.
A brief could ask for a 15-second presenter introduction followed by 15 seconds of a real recording that opens a plant, adds an entry and shows its latest logged date. The new scene explains why someone might use the feature. The recording shows the actual action.
Keep the spoken promise within those facts. “Check when you last logged watering” is supported by the example. “Never overwater a plant again” is not.
Check the saved clip before reusing it
Choose footage that matches the current product, the intended presenter and the scene's point. A beautifully filmed clip of a different version can be the wrong reference.
Check the selected excerpt, its length and whether its audio belongs in the reel. Personify's plan identifies the saved footage and version it will use. If the chosen file changes or is too short for the requested excerpt, review the plan again rather than assuming another clip will be substituted.
A saved generated demonstration can also be useful. Treat it as an illustration and inspect it against the real product. Showing a plausible action does not establish that the action happened or produced a measured result.
Generate the missing illustration when appropriate
For a clothing brief, a generated styling scene can use approved product imagery and a permitted avatar to illustrate an outfit. That does not require a recording of someone already wearing the combination.
An exact app interaction has a different job. Use a recording of the actual interface when the viewer needs evidence that a control or workflow exists. State that requirement in the brief instead of asking a generated screen to supply the proof.
Review the plan before scheduling
Check what will be new, what will be reused, the approved script and the generation quote. Choose the ready-by time and timezone in the production workflow. That time is a target; leave room to review the completed export.
Production scheduling and social publishing are separate decisions. A reel can be prepared for review without being posted to an account. When it is ready, watch the transition between the new and saved scenes: the two parts should complete the same thought.
